    I disagree with these conclusions, but do agree with these as being major factors:

    "Speculation
    Political unrest in producing countries
    The depreciation of the $US
    Prime exploration acreage that is off limits to OECD corporations"

    The peak oil *crisis* is about as valid as the *global warming crisis*, which is to say, not at all (we have been in a cooling phase for a decade now)
